Vivo X Fold6 Goes Global With a 200MP Camera and Lands in India at ₹2,19,999
Vivo showed the foldable outside China with an 8.02-inch inner screen and ZEISS cameras. It launched in India on October 6 in a single 12GB/512GB configuration with a 6,900mAh battery.
Vivo revealed the X Fold6 for global markets on October 1, bringing its latest book-style foldable out of China, where it debuted in June. At the reveal, Vivo showed the specifications, reported by FoneArena, but not pricing or availability (Business Today, 91mobiles).

Business Today's description of the China model adds a 50MP telephoto and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, with 20MP selfie cameras on both screens. Vivo is also pushing productivity tools including meeting transcription, file management and Jovi, an AI agent for voice-commanded workflows.
The battery and the leaks
The China model has a 7,000mAh battery, while the global and Indian versions use 6,900mAh. Before launch, tipster Abhishek Yadav correctly predicted the October 1 global debut and the October 6 Indian launch. Leaks had also pointed to both 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB models in Prism Black and Nebula Teal, but India got a single 12GB/512GB configuration. Early Indian price estimates of more than ₹1.5 lakh, and Business Today's ₹1.81 to 2.21 lakh range extrapolated from European listings, bracketed the final price.
The India angle
The launch came just ahead of the festive sales season, which began with Amazon's Great Indian Festival on October 8 and Flipkart's Big Billion Days on October 9. At ₹2,19,999, the X Fold6 sits at the top of the foldable market in India.
