Lava Aura Curve 5G Launched in India at Rs 23,999 With a Rear Mini Display
Lava's new mid-ranger pairs a Dimensity 7100 chip with a small rear screen for notifications, and it will be sold only through the company's offline retail network.

Lava has launched the Aura Curve 5G in India at Rs 23,999. The phone combines a curved AMOLED display, a small secondary screen on the back and a 6,000mAh battery, and it comes in a single configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (Business Today, Gizbot).
Price and availability
The Aura Curve 5G launched on October 21, 2026, and is sold only through Lava's offline retail network, with Free Service at Home. No sale date, bank offer or introductory price has been announced.
It is essentially an offline twin of the Lava Virat Curve 5G, which launched in September and sells online on Flipkart with the same curved screen, rear display and specifications (MobileMall). If you prefer to buy online, compare the Virat Curve's current price first.
Reports disagree on colours: most list Ambar Blue and Him Silver in vegan leather, while NewsBricks lists Ellora Slate, Heritage Indigo and Makrana Ivory. Check the shade at the store.

The rear screen
The distinguishing feature is the mini display below the rear cameras. It shows notifications, battery status, music controls and custom messages, so you can glance at the phone without turning it over. One outlet describes it as LED alerts rather than a full screen, so check how much it can actually show before buying for that feature.
Performance and software
The Dimensity 7100 is a capable mid-range chip, and Lava claims more than 800,000 on AnTuTu, a company figure that has not been independently tested. The phone runs Android 16 with Lava's Vayu AI layer, and Lava says there are no preinstalled apps or ads, which is a genuine advantage in this price band. The update promise of two OS upgrades is shorter than some rivals offer.
Should you buy it?
At Rs 23,999 the Aura Curve 5G competes in a crowded segment where curved AMOLED screens and big batteries are common. Its strengths are the clean, ad-free software, the rear display and local offline servicing, which suits buyers who want to see a phone in person. The weak spots are the single 6GB and 128GB configuration, slower UFS 2.2 storage, no ultrawide camera and a 33W charger in a phone that supports 45W. Buyers comfortable shopping online should compare it with the Virat Curve and phones such as the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G before deciding.
