Oppo calls the Pro Max's camera the industry's first triple 200MP rear system and claims up to two days of typical battery life, a company figure that is untested. ColorOS 17 adds AI Mind Pilot and an Agent Mode; one outlet, Alvinology, says Agent Mode was developed with Manus, which Oppo's own release does not state.
The battery caveat
Oppo's release says capacity is 7,150mAh in selected markets. At the global launch, this turned out to mean Europe: European models carry 7,150mAh, while the Pro Max costs 1,800 euros there. Check the battery figure on the product page for your market before buying.
Reservations in Singapore
OPPO Singapore took S$100 early-bird deposits including a warranty package valued at S$310, with pre-orders opening on October 22 and early fulfilment from October 26.
What to test
Triple 200MP sensors are a spec, not a guarantee of image quality, and battery life depends on the chip, screen and software as much as capacity. Independent reviews will be the first evidence of how the two-day claim holds up.
What to watch next
India reviews and the October 29 sale, launch offers on Flipkart and Amazon, and the battery capacity of Indian units.
