The V80 went on sale on October 13 at noon, with launch offers of either 10 percent instant cashback or a 10 percent exchange bonus, plus 100GB of Google One storage (Beebom). The S2 FE followed on October 20 (Business Today). Some retail listings show higher MRPs than the launch prices, and bank offer terms vary by card and retailer. The V80 comes in Horizon Blue, Stellar Black and Sunrise Anthem.

What the V80 offers

The display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, according to GSMArena and Vivo's product page. The phone runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and Smartprix reports that Vivo promises six years of security updates.

The battery is the headline, at 7,200mAh with 90W wired charging. GSMArena gives the thickness as 7.79mm and the weight as 210g. The frame is aluminium with a glass back, and the phone carries an IP69 rating, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and eSIM support.

Cameras

The rear system is a Zeiss-branded triple setup. A 50MP Sony LYT-700V main sensor has optical stabilisation and autofocus, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto offers stabilised 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide completes the set. The front camera is a 50MP unit with autofocus, and Vivo lists 4K video at 60 frames per second with stabilisation. Vivo puts the Zeiss telephoto at the centre of its pitch; its image quality claims await independent reviews.

The S2 FE

The S2 FE is built around endurance. It has a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip and a 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging, with IP68 and IP69 ratings. Cameras are a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP bokeh sensor and a 32MP selfie camera, and colours are Zen White, Titan Black and Stellar Green. Unlike the V80, it ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 (Cashify). Vivo claims up to 30 hours of video playback and 68 hours of talk time.

Smartprix lists the X Fold 6 with an 8.02-inch main display and a 6.9-inch cover screen.

How the two phones differ

At ₹62,999 the V80 asks for a premium price, and its case rests on the 7,200mAh battery, 144Hz screen and telephoto camera. Buyers who rank gaming performance first should compare the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 against rivals at similar prices.

The S2 FE makes a different case. Its 10,000mAh battery is the largest of the three phones and the base model costs ₹38,999. The trade-offs on paper are the Dimensity 7300e, a 2MP secondary camera, slower 44W charging and an older Android version, so it suits buyers who care most about battery life.
