Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Costs 1,800 Euros in Europe, With a Smaller 7,150mAh Battery

Oppo launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max globally on October 21, pricing the Pro Max at 1,800 euros in Europe and fitting the European version with a 7,150mAh typical battery rather than the 8,000mAh figure that headlined the China launch (Gizmochina, Techloy). The standard Find X10 starts at 1,300 euros for 256GB.

European and UK pricing

ModelMemoryEuropeUK
Find X10256GB1,300 euros1,100 pounds
Find X10512GB1,500 euros1,250 pounds
Find X10 Pro Max12GB + 512GB1,800 euros1,500 pounds (some outlets list 1,499)

Oppo's own product page carries no prices, so these figures come from launch coverage. The phones went on sale in the UK, Germany, France and other European markets on October 21, and are not sold in the United States. UK buyers get an extra 100 pounds off until October 28, and Germany has a 100 euro voucher; one outlet also lists a trade-in bonus and a free accessory, which other reports did not confirm.

The prices are above a pre-launch leak that suggested 1,399 and 1,599 euros for the standard model (Digital Citizen). The leaked Pro Max price of 1,799 euros was close to the final 1,800. The same Pro Max configuration costs about 80 percent more in Europe than in China (Memeburn).

The battery footnote

In China, the Find X10 Pro Max was introduced with an 8,000mAh battery. Oppo's global product page still shows "8000mAh Large Battery," but a footnote states that "the typical battery capacity of the European version is 7150mAh." The standard Find X10 gets the same capacity in Europe, while versions sold in China and outside the EU keep the 8,000mAh cell.

That is roughly a 10 percent reduction in typical capacity. Oppo lists the Chinese-spec battery as 8,000mAh typical and 7,790mAh rated, two ways of measuring the same cell, so buyers comparing spec sheets across regions should check which figure they are reading. Charging stays at up to 80W wired and 50W wireless, with the wireless charger sold separately.

What China paid

In China, Oppo priced the Pro Max at 6,799 yuan for 12GB and 256GB, and the standard Find X10 at 5,499 yuan in the same configuration. China also gets a cheaper Find X10 E that has not been announced elsewhere.

India prices

Oppo launched both phones in India on October 22. The Find X10 costs Rs 1,39,999 for 12GB and 256GB and Rs 1,69,999 for 12GB and 512GB, and the Find X10 Pro Max costs Rs 1,99,999 for 12GB and 512GB, with sales from October 29 on Oppo's store, Flipkart and Amazon (91mobiles). Full details are in our Find X10 India price story. The same event launched the Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition at Rs 94,999.

What to watch next

The battery capacity of Indian units, and early reviews showing how much real-world endurance the smaller European battery costs. PhoneArena's review already calls the price the phone's biggest weakness.
