Who we are
Gadgets365 is an independent technology publication operated from Pune, Maharashtra, India. You can reach us any time at hello@gadgets365.in.
What we collect
- Newsletter email address. Only if you choose to subscribe. We store the email address and the date you subscribed.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We count page views and basic device type using a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It does not set cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not build a profile of you.
- Editorial accounts. Our own staff sign in to publish articles. Those accounts store an email address and name.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless, so there is no cookie consent banner on this site. The only browser storage we use is what is strictly necessary to keep an editor signed in to our content system, and to remember display preferences such as theme.
How we use your information
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To reply to your message.
- To understand which articles are read, so we can write better ones.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who processes data for us
We use trusted service providers to host the site, store our content database and deliver email. They process data only on our instructions. Some of these providers operate servers outside India.
How long we keep it
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages sent to us are kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Anonymous statistics contain no personal data and are kept in aggregate.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.
- Ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@gadgets365.in. We respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Links to other sites
Our articles link to manufacturers, retailers and other publications. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. Where a link earns us a commission we mark it clearly.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
