PhoneArena says the US prices are $100 higher than the previous generation. Earlier leaks had pointed to European prices from €1,299; the launch price for the Tab S12+ is €1,329 (Pasquale Pillitteri). The tablets are sold at Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores and retailers.
Design and display
The Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, measures 5.1mm thick and weighs 692 grams in the Wi-Fi version. The Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch panel, 5.3mm thick and 553 grams in Wi-Fi form. Both screens run at 120Hz with up to 1,600 nits peak brightness, and both carry an IP68 rating. Samsung pitches the series as ultra-thin productivity machines.
Performance and software
Both models use the 3nm Dimensity 9500 with a 3D vapour chamber. Samsung says the chip delivers up to 19 percent faster CPU, 17 percent better GPU and 61 percent faster NPU performance than the previous generation; independent benchmarks will show how those claims hold under sustained load.
The tablets run One UI 9 on Android 17, include a six-month Google AI Pro trial and get seven generations of OS upgrades. Galaxy AI features include note summaries and Gemini integration, with split-screen multitasking and Adobe Photoshop preinstalled.
Battery and charging
The Ultra has an 11,600mAh battery rated for up to 23 hours, and the Tab S12+ a 10,600mAh cell rated for up to 21 hours, both with 45W charging. Those are Samsung's claims; real endurance depends on brightness, refresh rate and workload.
Everything else
Both tablets include an S Pen that works without Bluetooth, support dual SIM on cellular models, take microSD cards up to 2TB and have quad speakers. Samsung also sells a Pro Keyboard and a Book Cover Keyboard Slim.
