What the tablets offer
The Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and the Tab S12+ a 12.6-inch one, both at 120Hz with 1,600 nits peak brightness. Samsung India says both are under 5.3mm thick, and T2 Online lists 5.1mm for the Ultra and 5.3mm for the Plus.
Both use MediaTek's Dimensity 9500. Business Standard reports batteries of 11,600mAh in the Ultra and 10,600mAh in the Plus with 45W charging, and Samsung rates battery life at up to 23 and 21 hours. They run Android 17 with One UI 9, carry an IP68 rating and, per Business Standard, get seven generations of OS upgrades. Business Standard also reports 5G and Wi-Fi 7 on the Ultra and Wi-Fi 6E on the Plus, with Bluetooth 6.0 on both, a detail Samsung's India page does not state. My Mobile India says Adobe Photoshop comes preinstalled.
Context
Leaked European pricing before the global launch began at €1,299, but that was a leak, and official prices for other markets have not been compared here. The starting price is high for an Android tablet in India, and Samsung is leaning on bundles, buyback and financing to soften it.
