Xreal 1 Pro+ AR Glasses Launch at $599 With 1,200 Nits, Up From 700 on the One Pro

Xreal has launched the 1 Pro+, a brighter version of its flagship AR glasses, at the same $599 price as the One Pro. The company says peak brightness rises to 1,200 nits from 700, and the glasses went on sale from Xreal's own store on October 15 (Road to VR, Android Headlines).

What changed

The headline upgrade is the display: 1,200 nits of peak brightness on a Sony micro-OLED panel, roughly 70 percent more than the One Pro. That is a peak figure, not a sustained one. Xreal also adds AI HDR, speeds up on-device 2D-to-3D conversion to 60fps from 30fps, and redesigns the nose pad with a broader contact area. Standard, Movie and Reading colour presets are listed as new by some outlets but not others.

Owners of older glasses get part of the upgrade: Xreal says the One, One Pro and 1S will receive 60fps 3D conversion through a firmware update in November 2026 (AndroidGuys).

Price and availability

The price is $599 in the US. The One Pro is still listed at $599, so the 1 Pro+ is a second model at the same price rather than a replacement. Prescription lenses cost $49.90 to $69.90. On Xreal's US store, size M (interpupillary distance 57 to 66mm) was in stock, while size L (66 to 75mm) shipped within two weeks. Global retail stores are being added, and one report puts Amazon availability from October 29 (Auganix). No Indian price or launch has been announced.

Some outlets date the launch October 16 rather than October 15, and the product is written as both "1 Pro+" and "One Pro+".

What to watch next

Independent tests of whether the 1,200-nit peak holds up and whether AI HDR looks natural, the weight of the new model, which no source has given, and retail availability outside the US.
