Nvidia Confirms RTX Spark AI Laptops Are Coming This Fall From Six Major Brands
The Grace CPU and Blackwell RTX platform comes to laptops from Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI. Sales began October 16 from $2,599.99.

Nvidia has confirmed which brands will build the first RTX Spark laptops, a new class of AI-focused PC pairing an Nvidia Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU. Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI are first, with Acer and Gigabyte expected later (TechRadar).
<blockquote><strong>Update, October 25:</strong> RTX Spark laptops went on general sale on October 16, starting at $2,599.99 for the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra and Asus ProArt P14. HP's two models are due on November 4. The top configuration with 128GB of memory and 1TB of storage costs $5,899.99 (<a href="https://www.digitalcitizen.life/rtx-spark-laptop-preorders-start-at-2599-with-surface-asus-dell-hp-lenovo-and-msi-models/">Digital Citizen</a>, <a href="https://tech-insider.org/nvidia-rtx-spark-laptops-launch-2599-2026/">Tech Insider</a>).</blockquote>
What makes RTX Spark different
The top RTX Spark chip pairs a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell-generation RTX GPU on one platform, backed by up to 128GB of LPDDR5X unified memory shared between them. Nvidia says that delivers up to one petaflop of AI performance in a laptop while still running games at roughly 100fps at 1440p. A workstation-class AI accelerator that also games credibly is the whole pitch.
The chip appeared under the development codenames N1 and N1X before Nvidia settled on RTX Spark. Nvidia lists two N1X configurations.
| Configuration | CPU cores | GPU CUDA cores | Memory |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top-tier N1X | 20 | 6,144 | Up to 128GB unified |
| Scaled-down N1X | 18 | 5,120 | Up to 64GB (entry $2,599.99 laptops ship with 24GB) |
| Laptop | US starting price |
|---|---|
| Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, Asus ProArt P14 | $2,599.99 |
| HP OmniBook X 14 | $2,999.99 (ships November 4) |
| Lenovo Yoga 9n | $3,099.99 |
| Dell XPS 16 | $3,799.99 |
| Top configuration (128GB, 1TB) | $5,899.99 |
Three form factors
Nvidia unveiled RTX Spark at Computex 2026 as the basis for three machine types: laptops, compact desktops, and a larger workstation called DGX Station for Windows for heavier local AI work. Laptops are the volume play, aimed at developers, creators and enthusiasts who want strong on-device AI without renting cloud compute.
Who it is for
The AI performance and 128GB of unified memory matter most to a narrow but growing group: developers running large local models, researchers fine-tuning smaller models without cloud API costs, and creators using AI-heavy video and image tools who want the work done on the device. For browsing, office work or ordinary gaming, the price and specialisation make RTX Spark a poor fit.
No Indian price or launch has been announced.
What to watch next
Independent benchmarks will show whether Nvidia's petaflop figure becomes faster real-world AI work or stays a theoretical ceiling, and whether Acer and Gigabyte models follow.
