Asus Zenbook 14 Launches in India With Snapdragon, Ryzen or Core Ultra 9 Chips, From Rs 1,36,990

Asus has launched the Zenbook 14 (UX3480) in India with three processor options, a Ceraluminum body and a claimed 33 hours of battery life. Prices start at Rs 1,36,990 for the Snapdragon X model and rise to Rs 1,67,990 for the Intel Core Ultra 9 version, according to Indian reports of the 5 November launch.

Three chips, three variants

Asus is selling the Zenbook 14 as one design with a different processor in each variant. The UX3480QA uses a Snapdragon X (X1-26-100), the UX3480KA uses an AMD Ryzen AI 7 345, and the UX3480AA uses an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H. Techgenyz and Gogi both list the same line-up, and all three variants carry 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The NPU is rated at up to 50 TOPS on the Intel and AMD models and 45 TOPS on the Snapdragon one, according to Techgenyz. Those are rated figures, not measured performance. Asus's global product page for the Intel version calls it a Copilot+ PC with Microsoft Pluton security and an infrared camera for Windows Hello face login.

Display and build

All three use a 14-inch 16:10 OLED screen, but the panels differ. Techgenyz and Gogi say the Snapdragon model has a 1920 x 1200 panel at 60Hz, and that the AMD model adds touch and stylus support, though the pen is not included. The top Intel variant gets a 2880 x 1800 3K OLED touchscreen at 120Hz with up to 1,100 nits peak HDR brightness, which Digit also reports. Coverage is 100 percent of DCI-P3.

The chassis uses Asus's Ceraluminum finish, which the company says resists scratches and smudges, and is tested to the MIL-STD-810H standard. Thickness runs from 1.39cm to 1.69cm. The Snapdragon model weighs about 1.1kg and the Intel and AMD versions about 1.3kg. Colours are Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral and Zabriskie Beige, with availability varying by model and retailer.

Ports, software and connectivity

Ports vary by chip. Gogi lists a USB-A port, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm audio jack and two USB-C ports, with Thunderbolt 4 on the Intel model and USB4 on the AMD one. Wireless is Wi-Fi 6E on all three, with Bluetooth 5.4 on the Intel and AMD models and Bluetooth 5.3 on the Snapdragon one. The laptops ship with Windows 11 Home and Microsoft Office Home 2024, and carry a full-HD infrared camera for Windows Hello. A dedicated Copilot key is reported by Techgenyz.

Battery claim needs a caveat

Indian reports repeat Asus's claim of up to 33 hours per charge, along with about 50 percent charge in 30 minutes from the 68W USB-C adapter. Battery capacity differs by variant: 50Wh for the Snapdragon model and 70Wh for the other two, per Gogi and Techgenyz.

Asus's global page for the Intel model is more cautious. It cites 29 hours or more of offline video playback and up to 18 hours of web browsing on select configurations, based on Asus tests dated 28 July 2026. Asus says real-world battery life varies with configuration, use and power settings. The 33-hour figure is therefore a manufacturer's best case, and it is not clear which variant it applies to.

India pricing and availability

The Zenbook 14 launched in India on 5 November, after Asus confirmed the date in late October. Digit, Techgenyz and Gogi agree on the prices. The UX3480QA with Snapdragon X costs Rs 1,36,990, the UX3480KA with Ryzen AI 7 345 costs Rs 1,56,990, and the UX3480AA with Core Ultra 9 costs Rs 1,67,990. Asus's own India page did not show a price when we checked.

Asus is selling the laptop through its exclusive stores, the Asus E-shop, Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales and other authorised retailers. No-cost and low-cost EMI plans are available, and the reports differ on the monthly amounts, so check the figure at checkout. No separate sale start date or bank offers were reported. A ZenMouse MD202 wireless mouse launched alongside at Rs 6,999.

How it fits the market

The pricing puts the Zenbook 14 firmly in the premium segment, with each processor family aimed at a different buyer. The Snapdragon model is the lightest and the cheapest, while the Intel version has the brightest and smoothest screen. The Ryzen model sits between them with touch and stylus support but, per the reports, the same 60Hz panel as the entry model.

What to watch next

The first independent reviews will show whether the battery claims hold up on each chip, and how the Snapdragon model's 50Wh pack compares with the 70Wh packs in the other two. Retailer offers during the year-end sales are the other thing to track.
